Materials Required:
How to Play
1. Assemble the players in a circle around the radio.
2. Tell the players to listen closely as you slowly turn the dial until you come across a station playing music.
3. As soon as the participants hear music, have them race to guess the name of the song or the artist.
4. Give a point for each right answer, make a record of points, and keep on moving the dial to the next musical station.
5. If there is an disagreement about the title or artist of the song, take a vote or discard the song and move on.
6. Award bonus points if a player knows the song is a remake by a different artist.
7. Give bonus points for any other related information: the year the song was popular, what movie it was in, who wrote it, and so on.
Variation:
Instead of using a radio, prerecord sections of a variety of songs on a cassete tape or cd and keep a list of the correct answers. Play them back on a tape or CD player, pausing a few seconds between songs to allow the players to guess. Give points to the player with the most points.
