The Drawing Party Game: Draw Me!

No art talent is required for this game of fast-draw. But a good eye helps when it comes to identifying the picture.

Materials Needed:

• Index cards
• 2 pads of white paper
• 2 felt-tip pens
• Timer or stopwatch

This one of the funniest party games for adults, teens and kids can be played for 60 to 90 minutes. This is also perfect as an icebreaker game for different occasions.

How to Play:

1. On index cards, write down items for players to draw, such as a corner, ceiling, fingernail, ripcord, oven timer, cardboard box, and so on. (Make the items simple enough for anyone to draw.)

2. Divide the players into two teams.

3. Give each team a pad of paper and a pen.

4. Have one player pull a card, read it, then show it to a player on the other team.

5. On the word "Go," tell both players from each team that they have a minute to draw the object and have their teammates guess it before the other team. (For very simple objects, you may want to reduce the amount of time to thirty seconds.)

6. Give a point to the team that guesses the item first. If the time runs out and no one guesses the word, neither team gets a point.

7. Repeat with the next two players, and so on, until all the items written on the index cards have been drawn.

8. Award a prize to the team with the most points.

Variation:

Have each team make up words for the other team, then have the teams take turns drawing the words.

Ice Breaker Games: Claymation

Play this Charades-based game, and everyone will be putty in your hands.


Materials Needed:

• Modeling Clay
• 40 index cards
• 2 felt-tip pens
• Stopwatch or timer
• Paper
• Pen or pencil for keeping scores

Play this one of the funniest Party Games for 30-45 minutes.

How to Play:

1. Divide the group into two teams and have them sit on opposite sides of a table.

2. Give each group twenty index cards and a felt-tip pen. On each card, have them write down a noun for something that can be shaped in clay, such as cat, table, bus, and so on.

3. Stack the cards in two separate piles. Give Team 1 the pile written by Team 2 and vice versa.

4. Give each group a large lump of clay.

5. Have a player from Team 1 draw a card written by Team 2. That player must create the selected word out of clay and have his or her teammates guess the item before one is minute is called. Award a point if the word is guessed correctly.

6. Alternate teams and players until the cards are gone.

7. Award a prize to the team with the most points.

Variations:

Instead of restricting the game to nouns, make it more challenging by allowing verbs to be included. Then, if you like, add people, short phrases, movie titles, and so on.

Ice Breaker Games: Get Bingo

Get-Acquainted Bingo is a great ice-breaker to help your guests start some interesting conversations.


Materials Needed:

• Large index cards, 1 for each player
• Variety of colorful stickers, 8 of the same kind for each player.
• Felt-tip pen
• Clear contact paper
  

Play this one of the best Party Games for 30-45 minutes.

How to play:


1. Draw a grid on each card, three squares across by three down.


2. Cover the card with clear contact paper on both sides.


3. Place eight of the same stickers on the back of one card.


4. In each square on the front of each card, write a question about the other players. For example, if someone is pregnant, you might write "Who's expecting a baby?" Be sure to include a question or more about each guest.


5. Have players ask relevant questions to find the players who match the questions on the cards. They can't ask direct questions, but rather beat around the bush, trying to gather the answers.


6. When a player finds a match, have him or her take a sticker from that person and place it over the answered question.


7. Award a prize to the player who first fills all nine spaces with stickers.


Variation:


Instead of qustions, write down players' favorites, such as TV shows, books, stores, colors, actors, or musicians.
