Host a wine-tasting party that doubles as a game. Smell the bouquet, sip the heady flavor, and name that wine!
Materials Needed:
How to Play:
1. Assign each guest to bring a specific bottle of red or white wine, wrapped in a paper bag or aluminum foil so the name cannot be identified. Be sure to include a number of varieties. For example, for red wine, have merlot. zinfandel, carbenet, and pinot noir.
2. Collect the wine as guests arrive, and place them on the table in no particular order.
3. Select the first bottle at random, and pour a small amount into each player's wine glass.
4. Allow players time to sample and enjoy the taste of the wine. If you like, hand out sheets of wine-tasting tips your guest can use as a guide. Be sure to have some knowledge about wines.
