How well do you know the basics of child rearing? Would you pass the parenting test? Time for your checkup on this one of the best baby shower games! Let the game begins!

How To Play:

1. Find a current book or article on child development for your source of game questions. Be sure your information is up-to-date. Include such questions as "When should a baby begins solid foods?" "What is the best toy for a baby?" "Can babies see color or just black and white when they are born?" "Why do babies sleep when the vacuum is running?" Choose generally accepted baby facts, not topics that are under debate.

2. Write the questions on index cards and place them in a pile. Write the answers on a separate sheet of paper.

3. Distribute paper and pencils.

4. Have a player draw a card and read the question to the group.

5. Tell all the players to write down an answer to the question. (Encourage the players to write funny answers in addition to the real answers.)

6. Repeat until all the questions have been read and answered. Read the questions again, this time allowing players to answer aloud. Then read the correct answer. Give a point for each correct answer.

7. Reward a prize to the player with the most points.

Variation:

Play the game using pet-related questions instead of child-related questions if you want it to play during occasions other than a baby shower party.
